It’s not the fastest SSD currently available from ADATA’s stables, but it also doesn’t have any problems of those ultra-fast drives. The XPG GAMMIX S10 meant for standard gaming builds where users want something faster than SATA SSDs, but didn’t want to spend a fortune for premium ultra-fast drives. For that XPG GAMMIX S10 has some great specs like fast PCIe Gen3 x4 with NVMe 1.2, DRAM Cache Buffer and hardware LDPC ECC.

Performance wise XPG GAMMIX S10 1TB offer 1,250 MB/s sequential read and 790 MB/s sequential write speeds which not that fast if you compare it with fastest SSD currently available in the M.2 form, but it’s much faster than traditional SATA SSDs which it mainly this drive wanted to replace. The XPG GAMMIX S10 also don’t exhibit any heating issue thanks to its great looking heatsink. Considering its price, the XPG GAMMIX S10 offering a better price to performance, most other M.2 NVMe drives, yes the 1TB model we used is a high priced one but for lower capacity models are priced very competitively.
