AMD announced its new-generation Wraith Prism CPU cooler, which will sell separately. The new cooler launched alongside its Ryzen 2000-series “Pinnacle Ridge” processors. The Wraith Prism is basically a Wraith Max cooler with intergraded RGB LED lighting. The cooler features two RGB LED diffusers embedded into its shroud, an outer ring along with the intake, and an inner ring along the bore of the intake frame.
The RGB LEDs will be controllable via Ryzen Master software, but it will also support software control via motherboard software such as ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, BIOSTAR Vivid, etc. Under the shroud, the Wraith Prism features the same aluminium fin-stack heatsink as the Wraith Max. The cooler also features fan-profiles for different CPU OC modes, which can be set by Ryzen Master. The Wraith Prism CPU cooler will soon be available for purchase for the price of $49, which is a $5 premium over current Wraith Max cooler.
