AMD will show the new X370 Motherboards at “New Horizon” Event

On December 13th “New Horizon” event, AMD is expected to showcase Summit Ridge ZEN-based microprocessors along with AM4 based on X370 chipset motherboards.

The new X370 chipset motherboard will support up to two third-generation PCIe x16 lanes for multi-GPU support and DDR4 memory, native M.2 NVMe & SATA Express connectivity, USB 3.1 Gen2 connectivity.

Other than X370 chipset, there will be a B350 and A320 chipset for mid-range and entry-level respectively. But we think AMD may only show the X370 chipset on “New Horizon” event with SR7, SR5 and SR3 Zen CPUs which will compete Intel’s Core i7, i5, and i3 CPUs.
