ASUS ROG Gladius II Review

Testing and Conclusion

For testing fire up FPS game like Battlefield 1, CS: GO and few others games, the first of all sensor is accurate and there no accelerations issue thanks to the optical sensor. As for comfort concerned it’s very comfortable to hold and for those who used Razer Death Adder in the past it feels just like it but with side rubber grip really change its feel. The newly added sniper thumb button is useful during scoping during sniping, help to minimize accidental over shot the target. Though for me I like a little lighter mouse for FPS games, still, the Gladius II is well balanced, and weight is distributed nicely, so no front or back heavy and you can comfortably pick up the Gladius II with two fingers in the middle.

The ROG Gladius II is an evolution for original Gladius, which itself was an excellent mouse and now ASUS has addressed most of the complaints we had, like need to change the mouse feet for changing the switches. The Gladius II has dedicated holes for the opening process, and now users can swap the switches as many times they want. Another significant addition is RGB lighting and allowing users to color match the mouse with rest of system. The only thing I didn’t like about the mouse is its weight, but that a personal preference and many people like a little heavy mouse.

Overall the ROG Gladius II is loaded with features and functionality with ergonomically design, which is comfortable, accurate and packed with some unique features that you don’t find on any other mouse like replaceable switches. For the price, it offers great value for features it has, and I highly recommend the ASUS ROG Gladius II for those looking for a feature pack gaming mouse. We are giving the ROG Gladius II a GOLD AWARD.
