Overall Asus ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC really a better card not just because of GP102 GPU core, but its improved feature set and overall aesthetic feel. With new cooler and full custom PCB with 10+2 power phases design ASUS have given icing on top of the NVIDIA’s GTX 1080 Ti.

ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC Review

Performance wise, Asus ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 TI OC runs around 2020 MHz boost speed in the game without any manual overclocking, which is excellent when you consider the card is advertised to run at 1708 MHz, and with slight Overclocking card can run even faster while running under 72°C. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is just a rebrand of Titan X, with NVIDIA, decided to ditch 1GB of memory, making the VRAM number to a weird 11GB. Along with slightly fewer ROPs and a rather unusual 352-bit memory bus. But NVIDIA does use faster DDR5X memory and slightly higher clock speed than Titan X clock frequencies. So the performance didn’t drop too much, and in fact, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is faster in most gaming situations. The custom cards like Asus ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC is just 7% to 9% faster compared to the Founders Edition from NVIDIA, but it gives you much better cooling and low noise levels with additional features like RGB lighting and the option to connect two fans and to control them through the software. As a flagship card Asus ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti isn’t cheap with priced around $780 in the US or ₹71,000 in India at the time of writing of this review. Though, if you can afford it, we can definitely recommend it as Asus ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1080 Ti OC has everything that you might want from a top of the line graphic card. I am very impressed by it as it ticks all the right boxes in my testing, so I am giving it Editor Choice Award.
