GPU Tweak II

The ROG STRIX RX470 OC has a factory overclock of 1270 MHz clock speed, but didn’t run at OC speed out of the box; you need to install GPU Tweak II software, in order to set the OC mode for the card. The card has three modes, OC mode, Gaming mode and Silent mode.

For manual Overclocking controls, you need to click on Professional Mode on down right corner. The Professional Mode has all the necessary options for Overclocking.

For lighting customization, you need to go to tools and click on AURA. Here you can customize lighting effects and color of the ROG eye on the side of the card.

For Overclocking we didn’t apply any voltage, just set the Power Limit slider to the max and pushed the clock speeds, but sadly I only manage to get +20 MHz more at the core, even with added voltage card did achieve higher clock speeds. Though, I did not run higher voltage Overclocks for my testing as most users not going to do any Overclocking anyway.
