ASUS ROG Strix Scope PBT Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

Final Thoughts

ASUS ROG Strix Scope PBT Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Review

After two weeks of use, I would say it’s a pretty similar experience to other mechanical keyboards I had used like K70 MK.2 or STRIX Flare, but I do miss the wrist rest and backlighting at night. Other than that ROG Strix Scope PBT is a solid keyboard It has the necessary features but doesn’t have any unnecessary add on we see on other gaming keyboards these days. The lack of additional buttons and overly-fancy design means you get a compact keyboard that nails the basics. The PBT keycap offers much better longevity than standard ABS keycaps. Is it for everyone certainly not lack of RGB lighting and extra features like USB pass-through, dedicated media control will turn lots of buyers away. Though if you really want RGB than ASUS has Strix Scope RGB for you, the Strix Scope PBT is for though who value longevity and want something pure for their desk that lasts a long time.
