GPU Tweak II
The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 OC will not run at factory OC speed out of the box; you need to install GPU Tweak II software, in order to set the OC mode for the card. The card has three modes, OC mode, Gaming mode, and Silent mode.
For lighting customization, you need to go to tools and click on AURA. Here you can customize the lighting effects and cooler. I am a little disappointed to see there are no separate cooler controls for different parts of the card.
Ever since NVIDIA introduce GPU Boost, which automatically pushes the card as far as it can get and they’re not much headroom left for manual overclocking, as our card runs at 1965 MHz on gaming load. Also, considering that TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 OC already comes with a factory overclock, I only manage to squeeze out a few MHz only 1995 MHz, which totally not worth the effort of doing so as if you push it a little further you will start showing artifact and blue screens.
