ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti OC just a smaller version of the excellent TUF Gaming RTX 3080 we checked earlier. Just like its big brother, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti features an all-metal build with a full custom design VRM setup. The new-generation triple Axial-Tech fan cooler performed admirably kept the card at 58 °C in gaming loads which lets the card boost all the way to 2010Mhz. Another big feature is the dual Bios switch allows customization of the card’s default performance profile without software also helps in case of bad bios update in the future. The new mainstream TUF Gaming RTX 3060 Ti OC Edition has enough horsepower for a high refresh rate 1080p or 1440p gaming, hell, even 4K gaming isn’t out of the question with some quality compromise. We’re looking at a performance that is equal to, or better than the GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER previous flagships cards.
Price-wise I don’t want to comment right now as lack of supply making cards way more expensive than they should have been. ASUS expects their TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti to retail for $460, which is just a 13% cost increase over the FE card $400 price tag. But as of right now price is totally out of the roof. If we consider the suggested retail price than cooling performance, paired with features like the dual-BIOS switch and RGB lighting, make the TUF’s $60 premium worthwhile in our opinion.
Overall, ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti OC is one of the best mainstream cards we have seen in the past few generations packing terrific performance impressive build quality, superb thermals with the near-silent operation, premium features like dual-BIOS makes the ideal no-compromise graphics card that will surely last you for years which exactly a mid-range GPU buyer wants, we are giving it our Editor’s Choice Award and highly recommend if you’re looking for a mid-range GPU built like a flagship model.
