Battlefield 1’s Spectator Mode will come with host of adjustment tools

Battlefield 1’s Spectator Mode will feature a host of new tools, adding depth of field, field of view and filtering options as well as a free camera.

The viewer can adjust their spectator experience and allow video makers to create their own short movies within Battlefield 1, with DICE taking the inspiration for this mode from members of the Battlefield community, who have created a lot of interesting short movie content and spectacular screenshots.

Below you can see a video from Berdu, who created the following video using the new Battlefield 1 Spectator Mode, showcasing many of its new features. This footage was captured from the Xbox One version of the game.

In the video, we can see the cinematic capture capabilities of the Spectator Mode. It shows the various options within the free camera, like the depth of field control, the field of view, and applying different filters.

Sadly, the Spectator mode will not be included in Battlefield 1 at launch; it will be added later should become available within the next month. Battlefield 1 will be releasing on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 21st.
