Packaging & Overview
The BenQ EW3270U comes in a simple cardboard box with all necessary features list on the front. Inside we find the monitor itself with the stand and the power cable.
The first impression the EW3270U looks identical to the EL2870U which we reviewed earlier with a plain minimalistic look and just little touch of a silver bar on the bottom and the stand. The screen size is 31.5 with a display area 698.4 x 392.85 mm.
On the center is the BenQ logo and right side are the control buttons with a dedicated button for toggling the HDR function.
The BenQ EW3270U comes with a built-in power delivery system so it’s not very slim like other LED monitors with an external power brick.
At back we find holes for 100 x 100mm VESA mount and K-Slot lock hole on the bottom right. The IO is faced down with two HDMI 2.0a ports, with a Display port 1.4 and a 3.5mm headphone jack port, on the left is the three pin power socket.
The stand is primarily made out of plastic with metal support inside, overall quite steady but it lacks any kind of high adjustment and swivel. It only offers slight tilt adjustment.
