CoolChip teases their first Kinetic CPU cooler for Skylake CPUs

CoolChip Technologies has teased their upcoming low profile Kinetic CPU cooler for Skylake CPUs. The Kinetic CPU cooler design combines a traditional heatsink and fan into a single unit, where part of the heatsink rotates and provides both direct cooling and airflow for the rest of the unit.

Cooler Master was partnered with CoolChip in 2015 to show off an early prototype of Kinetic cooler design, which was smaller than traditional CPU coolers and featured a heatsink/fan designs.

But now CoolChip is ready to releasing their first official product, which based on Intel LGA 1151 socket on CPUs that have a TDP of lower than 70W. The CoolChip Facebook page teased this cooler pictures and stated: “coming soon.”

Check it out! Low Profile Kinetic Cooler for locked Skylake (70W TDP). Can’t share details, but COMING SOON!

CoolChip categorises this cooler as their “low profile” design, so it may be possible that there is a larger variant as well, which will complement higher CPUs with higher TDPs/ cooling requirements. The picture also revealed that this CPU cooler would be available in multiple different colour options.
