Destiny 2 will be released in 2017 and will be bigger than previous game

Destiny 2 will be releasing in 2017, with plans to widening the franchise’s reach with developer Bungie planning to give the franchise a “broader reach” than the original.

According to rumors, Destiny 2 will be releasing on PC alongside PS4 and Xbox One, which would certainly allow the new game to reach a wider audience. Bungie has hired several other studios to assist with the game’s development which suggested that the new Destiny 2 will be bigger that last one.

The game is expected to be developed on a new engine and take advantage of modern hardware, dropping support for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The game will be held after “The Taken King” in the Destiny timeline and is rumored to be called Destiny II: Forge of Hope.
