Fadu showcased world’s fastest SSD, capable of 5GB/sec

The company named Fadu, showcased world fastest SSD at Flash Memory Summit 2016. The Fadu EX800F is an NVMe-based SSD based on PCIe 3.0 x8 connection giving an insane 5GB/sec in both sequential read and write, with 1100K random read IOPS, and 500K random write IOPS.

The upcoming EC800F will come under Fadu’s FREE series of SSDs (FREE stands for Fast, Random Access, Energy Efficiency and Economics). The company didn’t unveil many details about this new SSD, but we can expect some details by the end of this year.
