GALAX GeForce RTX 2060 Super EX Review

The GALAX RTX 2060 Super EX is a more refined card rather than a brand-new card, it has improvements across the board in terms of performance, looks and cooler design. The card does not look as bulky as the flagship cards but GALAX actually put a very good cooler on it. The triple-slot, the dual 100mm-fan design gives lower temperatures than previous cards. Gaming temperature ends up fairly cool with just 65°C, which is 14°C better than the original 2060 model.

GALAX’s one-click OC, overclocked the card to a rated boost of 1695 MHz and thanks to better temp GPUBoost pushed it to 1980 MHz on average and 7.1% performance gained and the RTX 2060 Super EX matches the original RTX 2070. With those performance numbers, it could handle 1080p / 1440P gaming with the max setting.

The GALAX RTX 2060 Super EX among the cheapest with a price tag of ₹32,800 in India or $400 USD. The RTX 2060 Super is slightly better on real-time ray tracing still too taxing for GPU and you better off without it. Overall the GALAX RTX 2060 Super EX is very well built with a great cooler and well-performing and we are giving it our EDITOR’S CHOICE AWARD.
