With the 3GB version of the GeForce GTX 1060 NVIDIA has met the competition, and clearly it outperforms RX470, but still I would suggest going for 6GB version if possible as our test does suggest that 3GB could become a limit in future titles, even at 1080p. Even though the 3GB model has a cut-down version of GP106 with 1152 CUDA cores compare to 1280 CUDA cores on 6GB variant, no real word many games show that this 3Gb model is very close to its 6GB bigger brother in terms of performance. Only when we run some very memory intensive games, the 3GB VRAM starts to show its weakness, that’s why I think NVIDIA should give at least 4GB memory on this card.

With ARMOR GeForce GTX 1060 3GB OC MSI has done practically everything right with the card features a factory overclock and Twin Frozr VI thermal design that helps the card to run cool and quiet. The card has an 8-pin power compared to standard 6-pin, which contributes to providing more power and offer much better-Overclocking capability. Overall the card performs very well be a great option for those who didn’t need RGB rainbow all over on their card or just want something that has a good set of features but don’t break the bank. We are giving it GOLD AWARD.
