Mushkin has launched its first mechanical keyboard the Carbon KB-001 and entered the gaming peripherals market. Mushkin is apparently positioning the Carbon KB-001 as a high-end offering, boasting the usage of CNC’d and aircraft-grade anodized brushed aluminum, with the PCB being touted as a double fiberglass design. The bottom of the keyboard has exhaust grills style layout. Overall the keyboard looks very clean and elegant.
The Carbon KB-001 features RGB lighting, and standard Kailh Brown switches for now and other switch options’ availability remaining unclear. Mushkin stated the keyboard has a full-size 104-key keyboard with n-key rollover anti-ghosting technologies and a Windows key lock. The Mushkin Carbon KB-001 will price around $70 USD and should be available in coming months.
