Nintendo has announced their new Nintendo Switch console, which is a hybrid console that can use as a handheld or traditional way with TV, Nintendo Switch promised to deliver an experience that is unlike anything that we have seen before.
As of now, Nintendo Switch console will be powered by NVIDIA Tegra, with NVIDIA Pascal based GPU. The tablet which has detachable controller add-ons, and can be used when attached directly to the screen for handheld gameplay or with an add-on which allows you to use the controller wirelessly when in console or travel mode.
And dock the tablet when come home to change into an interface which effectively turns the device into a home console, one that has the power to play games like Skyrim Special Edition both in home-console and in portable mode, with the transition between console and portable mode being as simple as removing the console from the docking station.
In the above video, we can see the console was running NBA 2017, Skyrim Special Edition, Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Splatoon, suggesting that a lot of existing Wii U titles will be ported over to the new console.
Although, Nintendo didn’t announce any pricing of this device, but it will release in March 2017.
So far many high-profile developers have confirmed that they are working with the Nintendo for new Switch console, including From Software, the developers of Dark Souls, Bethesda, the developers of Fallout, The Elder Scrolls and Dishonored, Activision, EA, Ubisoft, and SEGA, which gives the Nintendo Switch an extensive games support.
