NVIDIA released the source code for VR Funhouse and added Modding support

NVIDIA released the source code for VR Funhouse on GitHub. Allowing the community to create their own mods for the VR Funhouse. If you don’t know what VR Funhouse is, it a free VR game with lots of mini-games and demos for the HTC Vive for NVIDIA graphics cards. VR Funhouse is currently available to download on Steam, offering a unique VR experience that is designed exclusively for NVIDIA Pascal users and the HTC Vive.

Developers have been eagerly anticipating the source code for Funhouse, and we’re pleased to announce that this is available today on GitHub. This means developers can build brand new VR experiences, leveraging all the incredible GameWorks, PhysX, and VR Works technology found within Funhouse.

Also, we’ve chosen today to launch the VR Funhouse Mod Kit, this allows modders to access the game’s UE4 blueprints and assets and create mods and new levels to share with the world via Steam Workshop. This is available totally free right now!

To get the modding started we’ve also released 5 of our own mods: Super Whack-A-Mole, Zero-Gravity Goo, Big Top, Great Moles Of Fire and Tommy Gun. All are available today for free via Steam.

If you want to try some modes for yourself, you need to go to the Steam Workshop page for VR funhouse and simply subscribe to their desired mods.
