The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is finally unveiled in MWC and it’s a refinement from last year design. The body design with 2.5D glass with more rounded edges which made the phone more comfortable to hold. The Galaxy S7 come with a 5.1-inch 2560x1440p Super AMOLED display with 577ppi and Galaxy S7 edge feature a 5.5-inch 2560x1440p Super AMOLED display.
Both the phones powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC or Samsung’s own Exynos 8890, with 4GB LPDDR4-1800 RAM. Both model will available with 32GB or 64GB option and a microSD card slot for up to 200GB. Galaxy S7 will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
Samsung put a new 12MP camera with f/1.7 aperture and a new Dual Pixel technology, which allows amazing low-light performance and blazing fast autofocus speed. Also the smart OIS is present.
All of this is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery for Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge comes with little bigger 3,600 mAh battery to run its larger display. Both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge is the IP68 rating, which means that are properly waterproof. The Galaxy S7 will be available for pre-order starting on February 23rd and will be available on March 11th 2016.
