Sony announced the PlayStation Pro and PS4 Slim, supporting 4K streaming and gaming 1080p

Sony announced new 4K HDR supporting PlayStation 4 Pro console as well as their new PS4 Slim console.



The PS4 Pro will support 4K streaming and gaming 1080p 60FPS. The PS4 Pro feature a new AMD GPU based on Polaris architecture as well as a stronger CPU. As of now Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Mass Effect Andromeda and several other new titles have been confirmed to support the PS4 Pro with extra advanced graphics.



The new consoles will support all existing PS4 games, with games that support the PlayStation Pro’s new hardware supporting higher resolutions and framerates as well as increased graphical fidelity. Sony has also announced that Sony will be introducing HDR support with a new PS4 update which will be coming to all PS4 consoles, even the original 2013 launch PS4.



The PS4 Slim is priced at $299 and will release on September 15th, and PS4 Pro still don’t have any confirmed the release date.
