The first post-launch DLC of Titanfall 2 will release on November 30. The developer is also working on microtransaction store for the purely cosmetic purpose.
The first free DLC will be Angel City’s Most Wanted, which include a remake of the original fan favorite Titanfall “Angel City“. It will first be available on November 30 for players that have pre-ordered Titanfall 2. Everybody else will get access to the map on December 3.
The DLC will also include a new elite wingman pistol, a new pilot execution that let you phase into the enemy + new titan kits to customize your Titan abilities further. Respawn also announced that an in-game shop would be add in the DLC to buy “new skins, new camo, and prime Titans“.
Prime Titans will essentially be a reskin of their original with the same lead-out and abilities but with new assassination animation. This skins will cost real money.
The official Titanfall website states: “In addition to the free stuff, we will be opening a store in game with the launch of DLC #1 that will allow you to purchase new skins, camo and Prime Titans if you want for a modest price. We will have no in-game currency exchange
“No locked loot boxes, crafting shards or pay-to-win weaponry. No RNG. If you see something you like, you buy it and that’s it. These in no way affect stats and are purely cosmetic”, the post added. They continued: “We will have two Prime Titans available at launch. They have new chassis and assassinations but function the exact same way as their original counterparts.
