Xiaomi just announced Mi 5 their first ever global handset announcement. The Xiaomi Mi 5 comes with curved design on the back much like the Xiaomi Mi Note. The Xiaomi Mi 5 is equipped with a 5.15-inch IPS display with a 1080p resolution, ultra-bright 16-LED backlighting and almost no side bezels, which’s looks very nice. With Mi 5 Xiaomi integrated a physical home button, which is also a fingerprint reader (just like Samsung Galaxy).
The Mi 5’s 3D glass back and slim side profile, its looks elegant with measures 69.20 x 144.55 x 7.25mm. While the regular version will have a glass back, there will also be a higher-end ceramic back option called Xiaomi Mi5 Pro.
Specification wise Mi 5 packs Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 820 SoC with 3GB or 4GB of fast LPDDR4 RAM, the 32GB variant comes with 3GB RAM & 1.8 GHz clock speed, while 64GB variant feature 4GB RAM & 2.15 GHz processor speed. The Pro model will come another gig of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.0 memory. To power all of this Mi 5 feature a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.

The sensor made by Sony IMX 298, which comes with phase detection auto focus and deep trench isolation technology. Xiaomi Mi 5 can record 4K video without any problem. Xiaomi Mi 5 runs on 6.0 Marshmallow but MIUI 7 on top. The device will go on sell on March 1 in Chinese market with price start at just $306 (CNY 2000) for 32GB variant and for 64GB $352 (CNY 2300). The Mi 5 Pro with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for the price of $413 (CNY 2700). The Pre-orders for the Xiaomi Mi 5 are currently open in China. After China Mi 5 coming to India and follows other parts of the world.
