Today Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 3 in the Indian. The phone will only cost INR 9,999 ($148) for the 16GB model, and INR 11,999 ($178) for the 32GB model.
The Redmi Note 3 for India comes with completely new Snapdragon 650 SoC and 2GB of RAM on the 16GB unit and 3GB RAM on the 32GB model. Also this model includes a new 16-megapixel camera with f2.0 aperture and phase detect autofocus. The Redmi Note 3 packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 5-megapixel front camera, and an enormous 4,050mAh battery.
The Redmi Note 3 will be the first Xiaomi phone to feature a fingerprint sensor and the 1st Redmi phone to get a metal body. The Redmi Note 3 runs on MIUI 7 on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The Redmi Note 3 will be made in India, as a part of make in India initiative.
The Redmi Note 3 will be accessible through Mi.com and amazon.in, starting on March 9 at 2 PM, and on Snapdeal and Flipkart at a later time. The phone will be available in silver, gold, and gray colours.
